Need to know

  • First of all, we’re excited you’ll be joining us. Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class. Expect our staff to help you get acclimated to our space. We have shower and lockers available for your convenience. Free weights, towels, and other items used during class will also be made available for your use. If it’s your first time to the studio and don’t have a mat we’re happy to provide you with one.

  • Absolutely not! Everyone starts somewhere. Our entire concept is built on the idea that one foot forward is the momentum you need to start moving. We offer classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Modifications to poses are always available for any experience level.

  • Water for sure! A mat, if you have one! and a towel if you sweat like us!

    We recommend bringing a small yoga towel to class, especially if you tend to sweat during your practice. A towel can help you keep your mat and surrounding area clean, and can also be used as a prop during certain poses. We do offer small bath towels that can be used and shower towels are provided.

    We offer mat + towels rentals but also carry Manduka brand for sale in-studio.

  • A membership gives you access to the studio's classes on a recurring basis. By becoming a member, you can commit to a regular yoga practice and take advantage of the benefits of regular exercise and meditation. We also offer discounts on retail, and access to events at free or reduced pricing.

    Our memberships will vary in length. Most of our monthly memberships require a 3-month commitment and are recurring. In some cases our summer specials or holiday memberships are based on a specific timeframe. Check out our memberships under our purchase page on the header.

  • Class packs will give access to book using a credit-based system. Class packs will vary depending on the pack purchased - but are valid from the date of purchase for a set number of days and/or months.

  • Yes, the studio is proud to offer a discounted rate on membership to military personnel, first responders, and student/teachers. Please reach out to hello@movepoweryoga.com for more information.

  • If you have an injury or medical condition, let us know before class. We can provide modifications or alternatives to ensure that you can safely participate.

  • We’re a brand new studio in a modern and welcoming space. MOVE is conveniently located on Rt. 228 in Seven Fields and easily accessible from Wexford, Mars, Cranberry Township, and the surrounding Pittsburgh area.

    In studio - we have shower facilities, lockers, water fountain, mats, weights, and all the yoga accessories you’ll need for class.

  • Students booked within a class will have a 10-hour window to cancel. Leading up to that window, if you’re on the waitlist you’ll automatically be added to class if the window opens up. Please monitor your class status to ensure you’re aware when you’ve been booked to class - we'll also send an email as confirmation.

  • If you’re a no-show to class or have not canceled within the 10-hour window, we’ll retain the credit if booked with a class pack or charge $10 if part of our membership or $15 for a no-show.

  • We offer a 5-minute grace period to join the class but ask to join quietly so as not to disturb other students. We know traffic can be challenging and things happen - just give us a call!

  • If your guest is new to MOVE, we offer a Free Class. Just have them sign up for an account with us & a Class Credit will be added to their account to book class with. If you're part of our [Unlimited] Membership - you’ll have a Guest Credit you can share out each month.
